What happens when you turn a script into a Custom Brush on Illustrator?
Fabulousness…
kick-ass script

To apply this on Illustrator write something, then break the text (Create Outlines), then grab the whole thing and throw it into your Brush Palette. It will ask you which kind of brush you want to create, you click on “Pattern.” Right after you do that your outlines will become a path holding the pattern that was generated by the script itself.
Talk about recursiveness…
